Realizing that I was not going to be able to drive around the country with the original Motel Miguel I had to make a fast decision. On the morning of November 1st, laying in bed with a bucket catching water next to me I decided I needed a newer travel trailer. Luckily Mike and Gregs neighbor needed a trailer for one of his employees. Greg called him, told him my situation and he along with his employee came over to have a look. I told them everything that was wrong but the guy liked it and they bought it. Even though the sky was cloudy and raining on and off the sun was shining on me.
I took what I got for Motel Miguel and went looking for a new trailer. Greg couldn't go with us but Mike and I took off to Giant RV in Montclai, CA. We knew it would be a good day for deals since it was raining and the end of summer. Not many people buy new travel trailers at the end of the travel season. After looking at several models and negotiating an $8,000 discount from the list price I settled for a Forest River Evo. The main reason was that it had a slide out and the bathroom had a much bigger shower!
You resolved this in one day! That's incredible. And your new rig is a beauty. Roomy and cozy at the same time. Looks good.
