Everyone was in the dark for over an hour. We were told the power had gone out all over the city. We sat listening at interviews and watching them on the jumbotron.
Once the race got started it was long for the crashes to follow. This one happened in front of us.
What really amazed me was how loud they are and the speed in which the pit crews change out a set of tires. Sure wish my local guys worked just as fast!
